EXCIDIUM (POLAND)
The history of Excidium started in 2006 in Rzeszów, at the Southern part of Poland, when 4 metal maniacs decided to form a band and do their best in the devilish art. Originally the band consisted of Cuntreaper (vocals), Thot (drums) Alcoholocausted (guitars) and Hans Gruber (guitars)
By 2009, the band had recorded the first demo tape and split. Later on. In 2010 the new guitar player Violator joined the band during the sessions for the next release and Alcoholocausted shifted to bass guitar. In 2012 Golem became the new bassist of the band and in 2016 Violator left the band without a successor.
Our very first stuff recorded in 2007. That was an overfilled with hatred mixture of Black, Death and Thrash Metal. Songs like the „Infernal Oath” or „Excidium” are still the certain point of every gig. Demo was released on CD as a Split with Inseminator, and also on MC by a Spanish Final Embrace Records.
In 2008 we recorded our new stuff, but on that one we slightly changed our sound towards thrash. Originally that was planned as an EP entitled „Blackened Thrash Assassins”, but shortly after THE material came out, Bloodthirst proposed to us to do the Split, and we did it. “Infernal Thrashing Commandments” was released as CD (GruftProduktion) and MC (Final Embrace Records)
Going with the flow, we decided to record a promo album entitled „Decimation”. Due to line-up problems, promotion of that album was a total disaster, as a result those songs had never been officially published. Not long after recording the band put on hold, but returned after a few very long months.
